PROJECT OVERVIEW
The design approach comprises of a minimalist approach with two modular box like forms, embracing the opportunities and constraints of the site. Both dwellings allow for views and the opportunities for early morning sun and setting sun in the west, for maximum solar gain and natural light whilst embracing the site’s mature hedgerows and feature trees.
The use of full height glazing and through utilising a pallet of high-quality materials the proposal’s will significantly enhance the location and be a real contribution to the edge of the designated conservation area.
The project will utilise a SIPs (Structurally Insulated Panel) construction to form the superstructure creating two highly insulated and sustainable dwellings.
The project is due to start on site in the summer of 2019.
