CCS MEDIA CHESTERFIELD

The Practice was invited by a national IT company to refresh and reconfigure their head offices near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. The site comprises two buildings, one a listed building dating from 1660 the other a typical office building built in the 1970's.

The conceptual designs are for a modern, corporate, functional, stylish building interior and a modern update to the exterior of the 1970's building in the form of a metal style cladding.

​Eighty members of staff are based at the head office, in addition the company operates flexible working from home and hot desking policies.

The brief was to create a fun, flexible and exciting new office environment that will serve as a vibrant hub for the staff and meetings. The proposed concept design forms large open plan offices linked with a triple height void and stair come seating area for informal work and meeting spaces, with strong biophilic esign the new planting and timber cladding provides a modern inviting atmosphere.
