Demolition of original dwelling and construction of a new in green belt in Erewash, Derbyshire. The new dwelling is a traditional double fronted with a mixture of brick work and render with contemporary glazing and projecting double height bay windows.

The planning authority was Erewash Borough Council, the local authority has restrictive policies in place (as most do) that limit the size of enlargement of residential properties in green belt. The new dwelling is larger than the original by a volume percentage.

The new dwelling has a large open plan living space at the back of the property that has a sophisticated, individual bi-fold door system that leads to an extensive outdoor living/socialising patio area.

The orientation of the property maximises the stunning countryside views and the master suite is complimented with a large balcony. The dwelling also has a self-contained flat/annexe that can be accessed from the double height feature gallery entrance.
