MMA secures planning permission for new retail units in Mickleover.

Matthew Montague Architects have secured planning permission for clients IJA Commercial for the demolition and redevelopment of the existing, redundant service station and car repair garage in Mickleover.

The site itself occupies a key location in the centre of Mickleover, it is a corner plot situated where Uttoxeter Road meets Limes Avenue. The 1200 square meter site will be a new development of 9 retail units plus car parking and delivery area.

A simple and contemporary scheme has been approved which is essentially two storey in scale, but rising to the corner, finished with high quality materials the development will significantly enhance the location, and be a real contribution to the setting on the edge of the conservation area Works are expected to start on site Spring 2019.
