Planning permission enables investment in existing heritage property.
Planning permission has been granted for the conversion of a disused barn into a dwelling on a heritage farm on the outskirts of Quarndon.
Following careful negotiations with Amber Valley Borough Council permission was granted for the conversion of the barn. The red brick and slate barn will be converted retaining the existing character and architectural features. The barn is one of a range of detached disused buildings at the farm.
The granting of planning permission enables valuable investment in an existing heritage asset, and breathes new life into an otherwise redundant building.
