Dream Home in the Derbyshire Countryside.
From the architect’s hand drawn sketch design to significant progress on site for this new Derbyshire country house being constructed using natural stone with natural slate roof. The house faces north-east and will over look a wildlife lake.
The practice secured planning permission for the demolition of the original dilapidated buildings and construction of the new dwelling in 2020.
The house has a central entrance way with a cut stone segmental archway leading to the main entrance hall with central staircase from which the living accommodation encircles.
The accommodation incorporates all of the space associated with a country farmhouse together with those associated with modern living including a family room, orangery, pantry, boot room, en-suites bathrooms to all bedrooms with basement wine cellar, plant room and garaging all levels are served by a lift to enable lifetime living.
Architectural landscaping design and development is on going plus new courtyard, ancillary buildings, guest cottages and water/garden features.
