Meet the Team. Introducing Josh Bolt.

After completing his GCSE’s at Woodlands School in Allestree Josh completed a BTEC in Mechanical Engineering at Derby College, prior to enrolling on the Architectural Technology & Practice Degree at The University of Derby. He has completed his second year and joins Matthew Montague Architects for his placement year.

After completing his BTEC Josh worked for nearly 6 years as a CAD Technician, working on both commercial and residential projects. He is keen to gain experience within the practice of more complex, design led projects in the education, commercial and residential sectors.

Josh has strong technical skills and is keen to work on more complex projects and expand his skills using REVIT and his knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to improve quality, learn integrated workflows, modelling and documentation systems. His first task within the Practice is technical drawings for a series of barn conversions.

Josh has a keen interest in football, and plays regularly. He also enjoys walking and photography and can often be found exploring the stunning Peak District at weekends.
